Lerase sits near the fountain on the warm, neatly cut fresh grass. The beautiful aroma of flowers is in the air and as it hits her, she is reminded of home. Of the flowers he mother would grow near her favourite tree. She tries to remember the face of her mother...a beautiful, elegant elf, chesnut coloured hair. Her smile ....she couldnt remember. For a moment she was tempted to get up and go home, but then she remembered why she was in the city of Ephesus...to learn more than she ever good in the southern forests, to become stronger and wiser, to make new friends and learn of the world...this is what she had always dreamed of.
...She wakes up from her thoughts and begins to run her hands through the cool, clean, fresh water of the fountain. She watches the townsfolk and the varying townspeople walk by...if she had just arrived here, she would no doubt think this place was one of the most peaceful in the world. But she knew different, she knew of the many disturbances this town has...she had witness more than her fair share.
This though, is a moment of peace, one that doesnt come around too often in the free city..one that she was going to make the most of.
She looks up at the sky, birds fly peacefully above and the clouds are few and far. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. Just listening to the sounds of the town,she picks up the voice of Lillie and smiles, though she does not say hello...she just sits there, her eyes closed, peaceful..smiling.
"I really should be studying" She thinks to herself, the burden of impressing Rei with her magics getting heavier....
She opens her eyes and sees Cassius standing in front of her...how did she not notice him coming? "I must have been in a deep dream" she thought to herself. She looks up to Cassius' face. The sun behind him..he was almost like a silhouette with the bright sun just above his head from her view.
She greets him with a voice so delicate and elegant...a voice that could only belong to an elf...
..."I am sorry I must go" she says..not wanting to converse..just some time to think to herself..some time to hear the sound of the world around her. Once again with her sweet delicate voice she speaks, almost in whisper "Tiemmay, hear me now, allow me passage to the grove, allow me peace of mind" A bright green light eminates around her, the beautiful sound of birds is heard and with the fall of a few leaves...she is taken to the Island grove of daewoo, amongst the trees..the sunlight playfully dancing in and out of their leaves, she closes her eyes and takes another peaceful, deep breath and returns to her peaceful, happy thoughts.
