I was there before I posted and even checked the FAQ and of course I missed the "Which platforms does Starlancer run on?" question while I was looking for system requirements instead. The answer by the way is "Starlancer is currently only supported on Windows PC (Win9x and Win2K) and the Sega Dreamcast." and I feel confident that it will run on XP also. Thanks Towlie, since I will need to go near there again tomorrow so I am going to pick a copy up. I could go back there tonight however, while the temperature (-8F) isn't bad the wind chill (-28F) is enough to keep me in for the night.

If you find the Fallout/Fallout 2 Dual Jewel set, do yourself a favor and pick it up for the $10 or less its usually for.  Such good games, SO cheap!

I already have the Fallout/Fallout 2 set and take a guess where I found it for $9.97? Yes, the evil empire aka Wal Mart.   Oddly Wal Mart usually seems to have a better selection in the discount games area than other places such as Best Buy or Game Stop/Babbages/Software Etc.

Well, I went and picked it up today along with a new battery (grumble, grumble) for my car.

Hope you enjoy it.  Make sure you have a joystick, or at least a gamepad.  I enjoyed the game, but it's difficulty got nigh impossible near the middle of the game.  The enemies were easy enough, but trying to shoot down all the torpedos later on...it's like trying to dodge raindrops in a rainstorm.

PS:  Oops, forgot to add, I run it on WinXP and don't have any problems.

Thanks Dash, I will have to dust off my X45 then. The part that had me worried about running it was W95 and when I found out it ran on W2K I figured that my chances of buying a coaster had been reduced considerably.
