P81 kitbash/ FCX redux/ Redone Prince of Wales class.

thanks to big cheese for taking off the dual dishes and making the polies for the dish. that allowed me to scoot it back and retexture some stuff.. i know this is a small image, but i dont want to ruin everything before the 1.1 release of generations.

i will also be releasing a new Chabot class.

For those of you who do not know the history of the Chabot class - it was created by knox1711 (ive lost the 1024 textures since) for me back when sfc3 first came out (excelsior II is what he called it). I named it after my former fleet admiral, Ghislin Chabot. From there, Korah was graceful enough to put it into tnz. when i released my mod, i put it into form which i wanted it to perform. be looking for more pix of it to come soon.

This mean it's going into the next GaW mod?

next significant patch update.

yes.

i probably will be releasing a 1.02 patch within the next 48 hours if we get some missions which we need for the campaign and karnak has agreed to release.

How about another ship some people (namely me) have requested, and would it be possible to have the original FCX put in, too?

Ooooooooooh...very nice.

Will this Prince of Wales class be available to those of us without the GaW mod as well?

Nice work Nanner.  I just can't get enough of the GAW mod.  It just makes playing SFC3 much more enjoyable.

One question though, have you ever thought of replacing the commentary of the Borg voices?  couldn't SFC2's ISC race sounds be a good replacment?

It's a lot easier to do a port to SFC 2 than to SFC 3..

Send me some email when you have a chance to get on MSN (and I'll do the same), and I'll show you how easy it is to convert back to SFC 2 from SFC 3.  I'll even show you how to get something all the way back to SFC 1 from SFC 3 'cause I'm a nice guy.  (grin)...

magnum. i have thought of it and am trying. i cant seem to get them to do that, but towlie has - so i need to figure out what he is doing. the borg voices will be a combination of gorn, lyran and isc. some voices will have to stay borg (like the formation ones).. but others i hope to replace. the other limitation, though, is that the voice file is 200 mb. for me to fix it, it will need to be a seperate download since i want to keep generations at a reasonable size.

thank you for your compliments though. cant wait to get the server fixed so we can play a campaign. the good news on that, btw, is that karnak has provided 5 more scripts. WEWT.
