Topic: SFC II:OP Can EAW saves be moved to OP? (Read 2118 times)

I have a Mirak (Zin) Campaign that I was playing way before the Orion Pirates days. It is at about year 2292 or so, I thought it would be cool to get the advanced era ships in, so is it possible, and how would I move my saved campaign from EAW to OP?

.. What if you copied over the entire MetaAssets/db directory from one game to the other?

hmmm i dont think it can be save, since there more stuff in sfc/op, well try to locate your save games and copy them in sfc/op and see if its working (also because of the patch it might not work, well i know from sfc1 that if a game was save with a patch and remove the pache and try to play that save game it wont work)

I've already tried just moving the save and changing the patch tags so that it has the right OP version, but I think that I would have to figure out how to forge OP mission successes and get a cartel map in somehow to keep my Empire map, and it's all quite beyond me (tried... failed).
