sfc:op resolution
« on: December 30, 2003, 07:45:18 am »

Ok, for some reason OP refuses to run at any resolution higher than 640x480.  Whatever I choose from the setup utility, the game runs in 640x480.  I've got OP at version 2.5.5.2 and my Nvidia drivers are the latest (the 12/12 release).  Here's my specs, hopefully someone can help me out here.

Thanks,
mrkrimpet

Check the readme for the 2.5.5.2 patch near the top - add the "start in" parameter to the shortcut you use for the game and the setup utility, and point the game shortcut to StarFleetOP.exe to skip the movie. Also try EzINI from KhoroMag.

Instead of using the refit from the Start menu to resize the game..

go into the programs folder and use that refit. to resize your desktop. it worked for me.

yeah that works... as it rewrites the ini file. if you use the shortcut the ini file gets put where the shortcut is... desktop, start menu etc.....

which is odd

By skipping the Intro movie it helps to ensure the stability of the game.
