That's an extremely good book, I've read it twice now.  Actually got to do a presentation on it in English class freshman year.  There are at least two more that I know of in the 'series' written by Shaara's son.  "Gods and Generals" (now a movie) and "The Last Full Measure".

Also, "The Killer Angels" was made into a movie called "Gettysburg".  Good flick, kinda long though.

Ok, I understand now , when you said the Movie Gettysburg It kinda clicked.

Hehe, Blame Krolling, she been using that Rolling pin on my head quite a bit lately. hehe.

Oh and Gettysburgh was pretty good IMHO. Haven't seen Gods and Generals yet.

Thanks guys,

Stephen

That's the one. Unless there was a major WWII battle in Pennslyvania, you have the right book!

I hope you enjoy it!

I am happy to hear that you like it!

I have a few more, but they are hard to locate!

I hestitate to mention this, but "Slow dance in the killing grounds" by Lenox Cramer is one of my favorites. I need to get a new copy. Mine is worn out. I've loaned it out a few times, and needless to say everyone liked it.

The first time I read it, I put it down. Thought about it, and read it again. That's the first and only book I did that!

BEWARE! You should plan on finding 8-12 hours to read the entire book. It is that good!

(Again, if you need help finding it, let me know. I have book resources that are hard to beat!)

LOL, Yep, I'm up to about chapter 6 right now,  i usually read alot faster, But I've been reading in the bed at night right before I go to sleep, Unfortuanalty, I have 4 6week Bosties, that have decided that that is the best time to bounce all over me, Try to eat my book, chew on my ears, etc...

It makes It hard to read.
