I'm gonna do the Cougar, Puma and Prarie Cat as seperate models, but what pallets would be best for them with regards to what will be used most in GAW and in general. Do i put 1 pallet on the Cougar (battle pallet), the cargo pallet on the Puma and whatever goes on the Prarie Cat?
1 pallet makes the model look a little unbalanced (see
THIS picture and imagine the forward pallet removed and you'll see what i mean).
Now, is GAW gonna be really accurate to SFB with its ships list? are they gonna do different versions of each tug with different pallets on and ones with 1 or 2 pallets (affecfs the move cost and turn code).
From a model point of view it's no sweat to me to do em all different, but that means several downloads of what is fundementally the same model with slightly different textures.
My main reason for asking is the Cougar with a Battle pallet. The primary pallet (ie battle, carrier etc) needs to be put in the rear location as per the picture above (according to SFB rules) and only a cargo pallet can be added in the second, forward position. This second pallet then blocks the FA firing weapons (in this case 4 FA arc disruptors). obviously in SFC this dont matter, aside the model looking a bit stupid with the disruptors firing through the cargo in front! but if GAW is trying to do SFB to SFC, is this important?
Thoughts please
