Attn: Sethan. Urgent message from Klingon High Command

Hello Sethan

I hope this gets your attention.

I have an extra copy of SFC3.  If you are interested, all you need to do is reply here or just  send an email
to captainkrenn@hotmail.com telling me where and to who to mail it.

This is an extra copy I have picked up and seeing as I can only use one at a time, I thought you could use it.
I don't need or want you to pay me for it.  Its yours for the asking.

Well, there is one thing.  You cannot tell anyone that I helped out a Romulan.  I have a reputation to uphold
you know.  And if Jaeih ever found out, I'd never live it down!

<looks over shoulder>

What?!  Unsecured channel?!

<sounds of comm officer being ripped limb from limb>

Grrr....incompetent fool!  <shoots corpse>

Well, anyway, let me know.  Its yours if you want it.

<turns to face bridge crew>

OK, who wants to be my new comm officer?

<sounds of screamng and running>

Krenn,
   I am really touched by your offer.  It is one of the things I love about this community - that we are willing and eager to help each other out when possible.  I don't take that sort of thing lightly by any means.

Nonetheless, I am going to turn your offer down, for what I consider to be a few good reasons.

First, as I am unemployed, I have no time to be playing games.  That may seem odd, but what it comes down to is that I spend every waking moment right now either looking for a job or trying to find a way to make ends meet until I find one.  The few minutes I steal away from that to post on the Taldren boards are really more than I can afford - but I miss the cameraderie.

Second, I intended (and still intend) to buy a copy of SFC3 when I am able, in order to support Taldren - because I like their attitude as a company, because of the support they provided (and continue to provide) for SFC2, and because of the faint hope that we may yet get GaW someday.  If you've got a spare copy, Taldren already has any money they're going to get for it.  When I am able, I'll buy a copy direct from Taldren if I can - otherwise in whatever fashion gets them the most cash from the sale.

Third, I don't really have an interest in SFC3.  Even when I become employed again, though I will acquire a copy, it will probably never leave shrink wrap.

So - while I appreciate the offer immensely, I would tell you to put that extra copy to better use:  find someone who loves the kind of game that SFC3 is, give it to them, and let them enjoy it.  Perhaps they'll hook other people on Taldren's games, or buy more of Taldren's games themselves.

No problem.  This way I can maintane my evil Klingon persona.

And I suppose I can settle for taking pot shots at Crimmick

Full power to the disruptors!
