I don'y know why but I actually get choked up that we are once again exploring the Red planet.

I thought I'd share this with you guys...while looking at the moon the other night my 3 years old grandaughtered annouced that she would sit on the moon some day. Gave me goosebumps 'cause I believe her.

Always interesting to actually look upon another planet. Just one problem with sending probes. They always have to land in the most flat, uninteresting vistas on the planet

CBC Newsworld just showed the NASA press conference where they unveiled the first 12 milion pixel Martian landscape image.

Pinkish, and very beautiful. Something wonderful to wake up to.

Left side of the image, about halfway up to the horizon. That smallish rock that appears to be standing upright? I think they finally found WALDO!!!
