New race ship design, need moddeler - please look

As the subject says this is  new race that I created a while back called the Alludrans and Atolm has graciously helped me by totally refining my crude scriblings into the fine work you see here. I am basically now pleading with anyone in the community who's got some free time to model this ship and possibly some other classes for SFC. A high poly count of the models is not an issue for me but I'd like high poly somewhere in the 5-7000 mark if possible.

A little about the Alludrans: their empire is a relatively small one located just behind the Kzinti (in relation to the Feds) They are strictly TOS/TMP at the moment as I haven't been arsed to write a history fitting them into TNG yet. This is their cruiser from around the 2280s/90s. Their ships use mainly light plasma torps for their heavy weapons with the launchers in the cut-out area in the front of the hull, their normal weapons in a canon world would be disruptors but thanx to the idiots who created SFB Klingons are now plagued with phasers They have no cloaking ability so they have to rely on speed instead of stealth while recharging their plasmas and their ships are rather lightly shielded as a result.

Actually the idiots who created SFB never took the cloak from the Klingons since it wasn't there to begin with.  It didn't exist for them until the idiots at Paramount, including Mr. Nimoy, decided they didn't want Romulans but wanted the cloak so the Klingons magically got it.

Not that I'd ever stick up for the idiots at SFB but idiocy is earned and not dished out haphazardly.

Who said anything about the cloak? I was just talking about the Klingons and Romulans having phasers when disruptors are their 'light' weapons. Not to mention the Lyrans and Mirak/Kzinti could do without the phasers given they have disruptors aswell. Oh, also if you remember the ep. Elan of Troyius the Klingon ship they blew up was cloaked, only it didn't work properly because the Klingons couldn't quite figure out how to use it - it is obvious they got it from the Romulans in exchange for M/AM reactors, disruptors and other advanced tech that the Romulans didn't have as part of the alliance.

My refference to a cloak was that my new race doesn't have them which means they can't use the Romulan tactic of sneaking around under cloak to charge the torps then uncloaking firing and repeating, their ships are lightly built so they can't use the Gorn tactic of sitting there and getting shot at so they rely on speed and maneouverability to get out of range of most enemy fire and shoot down or outrun plasmas/drones/suicide shuttles.

Wow!  That is a nice design.  If I had time, I could have come up with something, but I'm sorry I don't right now.  Also, I work on models that are strictly Low Polycount for us Low end users.  

As for the debate about Disruptors/Phasers for Klingons.  If I recall, SFB based their Klingons on old Schmatics of the D6 where it clearly showed Phasers banks on its hull.  SFB decided that Phasers must have been a pretty common weapon system throughout the Universe (clearly evident with the Andromedens) and equiped the weapon on all its designs.  Disruptros are a pretty common weapons system aswell since many Races in SFB (and in Star Trek aswell) use Disruptors heavily (and Phasers aswell).  I think even the old Scematics of the Romulan Warbirds (Bird of Prey too must Star Trek fans) had some phaser cabability too.  Parmont did really change this notion in ST3 with the B'rel Bird of prey with its Cloaking device and weapons.  

In my personal opinion, I wish Parmont included both Disruptors and Phasers on its Klingon and Romulan ships.  It would have solved a lot of problems later for us SFB fans.

Sweet looking ship. The sketch is definately Atolmian, but the design is Lestateese.
Anyway, very nice ship. I like the racial flavor as well. A Klink (fast and maneuverable) with plasmas. Sounds pretty balanced.
