Something Truely Refreshing

I just got Auran's Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 and I found out something wonderful. What they have done is very uncommon with todays games, they    do not   require the CD to be in the drive to run the program! Well I am off to do some railroading now.

Haven't had time to follow the PR about the new version. Is it a vast improvement and will the older boards work with the new one? Been working on a 30x60 board layout of the Island of Sodor for my son for nearly a year now.

I love games where i dont have to have the CD in.  I usually am on my franken laptop, and the CD Drive is busted.

I can play an older version of Hoyle Casino, and MoO2

I might install Civ2gold too

Although i am not absolutely certain I believe that they should. The one major improvement that I have seen so far is the automatic waybill system where industries will require the delivery of X amount of some item. I am unsure if the waybill system extends to passenger service although there would be little need because of the scheduled nature of passenger service.
