Bennie, as an owner of the Logitech stereo system for the P/C, I know you will LOVE it! Your wife and neighbors might not like it so much when you crank it up, hehehehehe. Believe me, I've listened to them all, including Bose, and the Logitech runs in the top 3 IMO. I just wish they would make them in the U.S. instead of China, with an assembly line factory process, they could not cost that much more I'm sure, I'd gladly still pay 50 bucks or so more to have it made in our country.

Yes, it's definitely a sweet setup. Enjoying it a lot. I christened it by playing the TT EE and the clarity of the background noises was amazing.

Same here Nem, for once I had a non material Christmas, and when ole doc Sal and his wife came over to treat me at home, I felt richer than King Solomon in his heydey.

I received gifts and gave gifts some quite nice.  But that was't important, hasn't been since I was a kid.  The people are important not the gifts.

Oddly enough my most exciting gifts were clothes.

When did I get this old???!!??

PS I did get a very sweet Jimi Hendrix 4 CD box set.

Every time I think Of Jimmi Hendrix, I recall an album By Stormtroopers of death that came out in the 80's. They had one song which was titled "Ballad to Jimmy Hendrix"

It was all of 10 seconds long which featured his standard Guitar solo, Folloed by the lyrics "He's dead".

Well, I worked straight through from Christmas Eve morning to the evening of the 27th (I did crash for 6 hours on the 26th).

We didn't do our exchanging of gifts until New Year's Eve.

Some of you know I've been unemployed for over a year (I am doing contract work now that pays poorly), so my ability to do gifts for my family and friends was pretty limited - which was somewhat depressing... and my financial situation overall has been getting progressively more bleak.

So - when someone I had lent a bunch of money to a long time ago showed up unexpectedly New Year's Day and paid me back - that made my Christmas.  Not having to stress about paying the bills for the next month was the best Christmas Present I got.
