The Biggest BS of the year! Gamespot Game awards

Looking through Gamespots game awards...and getting more and more disgusted with them.  Did they not play the games this year!?  Are they THAT disconnected with what is or is not a good game?

They got a few things right...and a whole slew so wrong off it looks as if they were bribed.  I mean, this is bad.

First off, they make up categories just to be able to not leave anyone out it seems...and need to spread out the joy.  Then they select certain games which were admitted awful games for their winners of the best of in certain areas...and though they do pick some stinkers for their worst...some of the games just are skipped over in favor of popularity (Gods and Generals is a better game and less of a disappointment than Dead or Alive Volleyball according to them...idiots...at least DoA Volleyball did what it set out to do...whilst Gods And Generals the game had terrible things with it).  I mean...they have so much BS coming from them it's running out of every orifice in their bodies...they truly stink in that article.

Instead of best sports game...they have best classic sports game, best alternative sports game...

For best PC game they didn't even INCLUDE Knights of the Old Republic...oh, that's right, it was already on X-box...and thus they had to rank it down on thier site rankings...

Instead have a games up like Rise of Nations (deserved), Call of Duty (deserved), Homeworld 2 (what the heck are they thinking, not quite up to par with the first even IMO), Railroad Tycoon 3 (Riiiiight), and Rainbow 6:Raven Shield (Now they really are disillusioned).

And they pick Rise of Nations (I'd have chosen Call of Duty over RoN any day...or other games...RoN was great, it was good...but it had some tech faults and blatant copying from some other games that I'd put CoD over it, or some other games above it any day of the week).

At least SW:KotoR won the Xbox game of the year.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar wins best GBA game?  All I can wonder is are these people on crack...or LSD?

Oh, and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker won their overall game of the year...

Go here to see their selections...

If you're like me...you'll feel sick afterwards...

However, they do still have the reader's choice for the games...go here...

and choose something better than their bribed and paid for BS awards.
