Topic: Just tried Call of Duty...and all I can say is...WOW!

I have heard that this was a cool game...but didn't believe it...however...Now I do.  Wow...all I can say is...Wow...

It is a good one. I haven't been playing it lately though since Knights of the Old Republic has gotten my attention which is another game that deserves a Wow.

You are going to love crossing the Volga and entering Stalingrad. I am actually impressed with the relative historical accuracy of the weapon physics having found only one, the Russian anti-tank rifle to be way off from my understanding of their historical performance. Historically they were obsolete before they were ever issued to the front line troops with only marginal capability against older tanks and usless against the newer models coming out except when used to shoot the tracks or by sniping at vision slits as a desperation move.

I have had the game for 2 months, I am waiting for tha patch and for them to get rid of the stupid bunny hoppig and lame ass sniper whore fest bullsheet.

Multi-player isn't a big thing for me with shooter games. Although I don't know what you mean with bunny hopping I do understand the problem with sniper weapons in a multi-player game and only banning them or limiting the team size for the team that has them seem workable to me. A game with one sniper and say four others for support in a defensive position against twenty people assaulting them could be a blast.

I should be getting out of here, it is almost 5:00 AM a time when all good vampires think of bed.

Both are part of most online FPS games.

I realy liked the SP side of CoD but the MP side of it blows.
I prefer ET where you have to use teamwork to reach your goal.(and can be more then just a solider)

The single player of COD is mindblowing..was so addicted completed it in about 5 hours with long breaks. Trying harder difficulties now, just got back to 'grad again, I love this!!


P.s. mp sucks for this game!

  I can't stop play Knights of the Old Republic either! I'm on my THIRD time playing it through. There's so many things to try differently. Like play good/evil play male/female. And I found stuff that I missed and WOW couldn't believe it!

   I've got to get Call of Duty, it seems like it might be able to weem me off of SW Kotor.
