These ships are so neat. A great combination of TOS design style and modern design sensibilities.

I must ask, can you give me a set of blank registry textures? I'd like to use a better, TOS font to make it look nicer.

Unless, of course, your doing that.

BTW, your models would look better if your lights weren't little glowing ovals. No offense, but I start getting scared when I see red lines glowing without illumination.

However, I could help you a little on that, since I've got a collection of nice lighting effects, and I've already used them on your Furious. I'd give you the textures if youd like, and I might be able to modify some other lighting textures too too.

if you look on the light-maps of the Micheal Adam or Loki class models done by me you would see that i could add some better lights but for the Predator and Avenger light i was to lazy to add those light effects because i have to use PSP 7.0 for the lighting effect but i use normaly PSP 6.1 and Photoshop 6 is used only for the registry because all other is to complicate for me to use in that proggie and i use the Federation bold font for the registry the font called Federation Hull looks stupid in that size of the registry in the texture

thanx that you have made those great render pics, thats something i can't ever do with max or other render proggies

i would send those pics to Masao with credit for you as renderer of those pics and you could have placed your credits to at those pics

According to the museum timeline they underwent refits in the 2280s so that might have been big enough to make them into TMP era versions, though Masao doesn't seem too keen on TMP era ships. (only having 2)

yeah some TMP Variants would be cool with Furious class like nacelles or nacelles like they have on the oberth the rest of the hull is easy

PS: Refits in the 2280s would probably involve TMP-era tech. I find TMP tech too hard to draw, but be my guest!

I just happen to have "spruced up" versions of the Avenger and Predator, with much more fitting fonts and lighting. You can actually see where the saucer and nacelle lights are, and the registries have been bumped up in number by 500 to avoid conflicts with the Saladin class. You see, the Saladins would be NCC-D500 upwards, while the original Avegner registries (from the same decade, 2245) were NCC-D100 upwards. But I'm sure you'll all enjoy the new details more anyhow.

I'd show these pics now, but I guess I should wait until Terradyhne gives the go ahead. Forgot about that for a sec.

i use 3s max to make pix with these magnificent ships!!

i see you are a member of ASDB! so i take then you know axeman then?? i did some conversion of some of his ships; did the type 17 shutle & iav-160, still working on the tas shuttles!!

i just love the designs you guys come up with!
