I just wanted to say that Thu11's TOS Lyran CA looks really good.
I am personally not partial to the designs of the FASA series but the detail and effort put into this was really great.
I would not use it as  TOS LCA but as maybe a TMP era Lyran or Lyran Dem. Rep. privateer. (the Millenium Ocelot he he he)
Just wanted to offer my compliments and say keep'em coming.
Also I just wanted to let anyone that is interested know that I am starting some groups at yahoo, MSN and in Korea (yeah I'm international) on the HanNET, Daum and KoreNET.  I freely offer my groups' storage space to anyone who has models that they want to keep as a depeository or "safe deposit box".  DTW hint hint hint.
I know that with having your own site that bills and the cost of additional space is steep so I am just offering my services.(said with a devlish smile while twirling mustache)
Oh and btw someone, I forgot who, asked about mirror universe ships and the differences they have.
Well here's my schpeel:
MU-earth empire(EAE) frigates.  Poor shields but phasers out the ying yang.  
MU-EAE-light cruisers.  Poor shields but phasers, phots and maybe some plasma out the ying yang.
MU-EAE new light and new heavy (Miranda style)cruisers.  Better shields, dual pods on the rollbars also phasers, phots and most likely some plasma out the ying yang.
MU-EAE heavy cruisers.  Since these would be in my opinion the mainstay of the EAE Fleet.  They would have the design of the TMP era Enterprise but have the phaser layout on the saucer of an Excelsior. and have that neat little single phot tube out the aft base of the dorsal support.  Also double phaser banks over the shuttle bay.   In other words, phasers, phots and definitely some plasma out the ying yang.
MU-EAE dreadnoughts and battleships.  just imagine a flying phaser array armed with photons and plasma and you get the idea.
MU-EAE Excelsior type battlecuisers would be more plasma heavy due to the destructive potential and since the Earth Empire is into the rough stuff I think that G or S types would be suitable.
