Thanks guys, I am thinking of investing in AMD but I wasn't sure yet, because Intel really had not said much, but I think it is also because AMD has about a year lead in development and infrastructure and that would really hurt Intel for a while. AMD stock is still less than 15 a share, so if I scraped up 100 shares then every cent I look at going up or down translates into dollars. It is what I did with CACS when they were gaining almost every day until after the first week of Dec and I was loving it. Leda does not buy in blocks of 100, so I have to look at the portfolio in Scottrade to get an exact amount of gain or loss as I suck at math.
BTW, stay away from CACS for right now, soon the 6 million more shares will be released, thus diluting the value, and any stock that goes from a low of .38 to a high of 15.80 in a year is rare unless they are making huge breakthroughs, especially when they are a telecom sector stock. It is a good company IMO, but the market is due for a correction, and that coupled with more stocks means lower prices.
