right now we are  doing a private test to finish buffing out the  edges. toasty has a link to it on his site, but you need a password to extract the zip file.

that all said, we hope to hav a public 1.0 release within the next couple of weeks. we would prefere to release the 1.0 build with new script from pelican, but depending on how long it takes him to finish the scripts, we might just release it and add in the scripts in a patch when he completes them.

the 1.0 release will have a couple of new karnak scripts for sure, though.

for what its worth, toten and a few other of the guys have done an awesome job of testing and pointing out issues which help things out tremendously in the finished product. we really do try to stress detail.

I'm pretty excited about this MOD. You guys really know how to keep the same game interesting for some time now. Thanks for all your hard work.

Well, I send a couple of suggestions too Nanner.  Hopefully they will get added too the mod, but I can understand why Nanner wants too keep the patches limited.

I really like this mod a lot.  I think its more balanced and a lot more fun then Dom War.

Just a note to Magnum:
Pelican is currently rebuilding Dominion Wars in order to achieve an even better balance. Who knows if he will succeed, but I await the results eagerly!

each mod is a work of art which is constantly in motion. i personally cant wait to see pelican's new mod. his is the oldest and perhaps most tested of any of the mods out there. people should always give each mod a look - because they are all different!

Agrred! Modders put a lot of work into their releases. It is the least that we can do to check them out.

hm. dunno about the high poly. i think the issue is skins. what i (and others) have done to decrease the load and download time is shrik the skin to 256x256 8 bit. there might be different versions with 512 or 1024x though.

hmmm what would happen if I was to redo the skins with a 512x512, would it turn back to the orignal, or would it look more blurry

if you found the orginal, it would be more sharp. if you took a 256 and made it 512, it would be more blurry.
