Since you asked nicely and I totally forgot to fill you in.

I had a coat of paint on the ship last summer then I took a good look at the grainy ortho of it and noticed that the top of the ship, bridge area and plyons/legs/whatever you want to call the mounts for the warp engines were significantly off. At least from my slanted perspective. So like everything else I work on it got shelved till ambition kicked in. So recently I reworked all those areas and just started on a new paint job. Scott Hunters mesh with enough rework on the places I mentioned that I can claim joint effort on the mesh.

No real time frame on it but I'm hacking away fairly steadily during time off from the SCS.

I tried to avoid capturing the lego look...

To be fair very few of the FASA Romulan ships actually look Romulan - even the V-30 is eaasily mistaken for a Klingon ship especially given that they did not attempt to make the bird feather wing patterns even slightly differentiated from those of the B'rel and later TNG Klingon ships. The Wing of Vengeance is also ugly enough IMO to pass off as a Klingon ship. The
V-1 looked much nicer IMO.
