Topic: tmp power and weapon question

i was looking for info on the power, weapon and shield for the enteprise from st1 and the enterprise-a from st5-6, i got info for the tos from the sfb book but there no info about the tmp era, also if there any power, shield and weapon for the rest of the fleet like the decature/belknap, constelation (stargazer) and other ship like the saladin, federation ect.

also i was wondering in sfb when a ship was launch and the enteprise from the serie was a what, a ca ca+, a cc cb or what and how much time before the refit for each ship like the firts is the ca, then the ca+ and the car, not much info on the sfb book.

As far as I know, the Constitution in SFB is a CA (with whatever refit etc), so the Enterprise in TOS would be a CA. I'm pretty sure in the X-module it lists the Enterprise-A under the CX section, and as far as I can figure, the Ent-A was another refitted Constitution (like the refit Enterprise in ST-1) renamed to Enterprise-A after the loss of the original ship. So, assuming thats the case, then the TMP Enterprise could be considered a CX under SFB.

Also depends on the service dates of the Enterpise and the Constitution refit dates. I beleive the films are set about 2280 to about 2290 (according to my ST-RPG, the Genesis event, ST2, is 2285 and the Khitomer Accords, ST6, is 2293), so if you can figure out the corrisponding year in service dates for whatever refits etc, maybe that'll help.

well the baned one (don't say is name or you will atract the attention of the add)  says that the constitution class was lunch in 2244 and in 2269 the enterprise began the major refit,  in 2271 the enterprise from st1 was launch, in 2285 the enteprise encounter the reliant, in 2286 the enteprise A was launch untill 2293 and the enterprise B was launch later that year, 2298 the last enterpise B class was retired.

If I remember the way the modules were introduced the TMP refit was represented by the X class specifications. Probably not the answer one was looking for but the X ships came out after Star Trek The Motion Picture. Of course since the Federation got their X cruiser so did everyone else. There was a basic description as to converting any class to an X upgrade and the SFB historical reference was explained as a directive by the Organions to demilitarize the fleets. (eg. dreadnoughts were banned) I am unsure if this was changed at a later time but that is the way I remember it. The Enterprise was a first generation CX after her refit.
