It has been over a year. . .
« on: December 13, 2003, 05:12:29 am »
Is there any word on an official patch for SFC3? I am tired of buying games that don't come complete.

Thanks,

Interstellar Machine

p.s.
Upon reading other posts, I see that this issue should be addressed with Activision. Thanks Taldren for caring for your customers!

I has been addressed to Activision, and judging by their responses, they couldn't care less...  I am into Unreal II now, and anxiously awaiting Doom 3.  Hopefully, Activision will not drop the ball on Doom 3...  I heard "id" has a lot more pull in the gaming world though...

Sir,I myself would just like to know the status of the Patch. I put,at least, two letters in this Forum in November, asking this question in relation to S.F.C.III,and didn't recieve an answer. Although,I'm greatful for all the people who looked at my requests for information about the status of S.F.C.III's Patch,I would've been happier if Activision or Taldren had answered my requests. The last report from David Farrell said they had three bugs left to fix in the current S.F.C.III Patch build. And,that was before Thanksgiving. Since then,Zero,Zip,and lots of Nada have we heard from either company. We'd just like to know what's happening currently with the S.F.C.III Patch. And,I include myself in this extremely humble request. Thank You for your time. Joseph L. Rand.(RJLRand@aol.com)

Bureau File Experience

We rate this company as having an unasatisfactory business performance record based on a pattern of complaints that cause us concern.

Some complainants allege merchandise is received defective or does not function properly. Most complaints are regarding a video game called Star Trek Armada. Customers complain, despite the fact that their game systems are compatible, the game is virtually inoperable. Many complainants report technical support was allegedly unable to assist the buyers with making the game operate properly. Most complainants contend, when they request refunds, the company refuses and claims the problem is with the buyer.

The company responds in some cases by advising they had attempted to contact the customer with no response, or by stating the customer's system did not meet the minimum requirements as stated on the packaging exterior. In other cases, responses offered refunds or exchanges. Other complaints remain unanswered.

We advise careful evaluation of the company's technical assistance, servicing, and refund and exchange policies prior to ordering products. Complaints against this type of company generally allege problems obtaining technical support, and difficulty understanding warranty terms.

The Better Business Bureau does not endorse, recommend or disapprove of any product, service or company.
