That's right, I believe it will happen today (or Tommorrow).  China's Premier, THE CHINA, the one remaining symbol of Marx's mad dream is coming to NY to talk to some financiers...on his way he will open the NY Stock Exchange.

Ring the Bell that is....

Ahh well, so much for Marx, Lenin, Mao, Stalin and about 120,000 million people whose existences were sorta snuffed out in the name of that failed system.

Good news for the world though...

China's economy is already a looooong long way from what Marx had in mind. That's one of the major reasons their government is still standing, unlike that of the USSR.

Russia used the marxist manifesto as a excuse to make a "socialist dictarship". True marxism shares all common goods with everybody. Not matter of status or amount of work done. Not share a little with the "common" masses, and share a lot with the "communist elite". A status "elite".

Hee hee hee!

I am (ethnically) Chinese.  I love it!  I hope it tolls for true freedom for my overseas brethren in all senses, not just the crass ability to make heaps of money, like the offspring of the party elites are able nowadays to do.  I hope, though, that it also tolls for the opening of China's eyes to an international responsibility and to the entire human race, as they are the most populous nation on Earth.  I also hope it adds to negating any real or imagined enmity between our continent and theirs.

Goodbye, Mr. Mao!  (In best Blofeld voice imitiation while rubbing white furry capitalist cat)

Know where else he's visiting? A farm in my town.  Pretty slick huh? I guess he used to be the Agriculture guy and decided it would be cool to see how the other side does things with sanitation.

I just hope he'll sign on the dotted line where it says they'll buy lots of American farm products.  (Or any other nonlethal products, for that matter.)
