Ok, 80's trivia time
« on: December 09, 2003, 12:05:48 am »
Got some good games as a Christmas gift for someone who can answer this trivia question. The name of the song is "Synthecide" it came out in the early 80's, was produced by the same guy that produced Bardeaux, and the lead singer had several 80's dance club hits.

Here is the deal, not only name the group, but also the lead singer, AND you have to name the profession that the lead singer held before getting into music. Good luck finding that on the web...

Remember, your name of the song is "Synthecide"

Good input, so far Will has the lead big time, but he still missed one thing about the lead singer. I found it out when I watched VH1s "Where are they now?"

Ok peeps, you even knew it or you didn't, and never spoke up.

Stacy Q was the lead singer of SSQ when they had "Synthecide" and later went solo to create numerous #1 dance hits for herself.

The two co-singers were formed into Bardeaux, and in 87 they had a smash hit called "3 time lover" before the early 90's grunge wave washed away the 80's dance craze.

Stacey Q's early career in addition to her acting also included being a call girl ( hoe for all you simple folk ), of which she only admitted (to my knowledge) on VH1s "where are they now"

Congrats to Willweasel for knowing the most, but noone got the final request right...
