Well, it does seem a little steap, but max6 is $795, so really...  I have always heard tale of some guy who got it here or there, at a garage sale or some company going out of buisness and the folks didn't know what the software was so they get it for double digits or less, but that's certainly the exception.  I check for max on ebay every so often (I don't know why, but I do that for some things just for kicks to see what's out there) and there isn't a full version out there that often.  I'd probably hold out for 4 at least though.

If you're lookin' for the cheap, it's probable that Max may be out of your range altogether, but it never hurts to keep lookin'.  Good luck, and if you find a good deal, and there are more left after you're done, pass it on to the rest of the folks here, there are a lot of folks who would like to get their hands on a copy of max.

Well, that looks like a full version, but 1.2 so old, I don't know if you would even be able to use for the game...the .mod plug-ins I know of are for 3,4 and 5. I know $255.00 is a little high, but for max3, it sounds pretty good. You might want to try Milkshape3D...only $20 (US), and there are plug-ins for that. Good Luck!!
