You gotta know Alan Rickman??

 In "Die Hard"

 In "Galaxy Quest"

 In "Dogma"

 And the "Harry Potter Films"

Ah, yes. Thanks for the reminder He looks rather like he'd make the doctor's timelord nemesis in most of those more than the good doctor himself. (Of course that may be typecasting but...)

I can see the scene now as Doctor Who tries to defeat his enemies the lift door opens and inside is the doctors assistant strapped to a chair.  Upon closer inspection there are some words written on the assitants top....

"Ho Ho Ho, Now I have a sonic screwdriver too!"

A Buffy style companion? Sounds like Ace, the  McCoy companion.

Incidentally, Who fans should check this out.

Hey Storm, did you ever catch a Buffy episode? Anthony Head played Giles, Buffy's Watcher in that series.

I caught parts of it. But could not follow the series for one reason or another. I'm considering buying it on DVD at some point. One thing that kept me away was the way people were obsessing over the series. It disturbed me a bit. I somewhat overreacted. Plus I was incredibly busy most of the time overseas.

Rickman. Hmmm.... now there's an interesting choice. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to that.
