Jesus, two times in two weeks I have got the flu. I slept for pretty much 3 days the first time and this time, I have been sick for 3 days and it still has not passed, I have had 103.6 temp at the max and pretty much stayed steady at around 103 temp for the last two days. This thing is nasty.

well, my fever broke, woke up pretty much in a pool of sweat and I am feeling much better, Temp is down to the high 90's. Still dizzy and have a headache but otherwise all is good.

Two times being sick in 2 weeks, the second one just broke me.

Well, this was not what I expected. I started to feel much better lastnight, I figured I would be good to go in the morning, guess not. By 3am in the morning I was freezing my arse off. I could not fall to sleep because of constant bad dreams so I decided to take my temp again, 102.7. Well, looked like this flu tried to take a second hold of me. Took a couple 500mg fever reducers and about 18 gallons of water and woke up this afternoon to sweat city. Hopefully I finally broke this fever because I am tired of it. This is the worst thing I have ever had in the ammount of time it has lasted and body temp levels. I have had other flu's feel worse for very short periods of time but this one still takes 1st

Yup its the same here in the UK

. I was visitng my girlfriend then she got knocked silly by it then obv i caught it lol so i ended up traveling hundreds of miles home feelin like i belong in a coffin haha. I can handle it ok but las few days i havent been able to sleep havin really strange semi awake dreams. Hits u hard dont it. Yup flu is bad haha. Hope u get better soon buddy.

Wow, be careful. =/ There is some nasty stuff going around this year. A friend of mine was wound tight as a harpstring for a week and a half because her six year old daughter had this thing and the fever just wouldn't come down.

I really haven't had the flu for a while, but at this time of year I am prone to bronchitis. Bronchitis, coupled with my asthma, can make it a living hell for me.

2:05am and still pushing 102 degree temp. This thing just wants to keep going, I am expecting it to start to change my DNA any minute and then I will become some sort of cthulhu like creature and devoure souls and sanity. Children, watch out... your daddy is going to eat you.

Hope you feel better EE, but I bet the two flus are really one. True influenza takes a long time to get over, and this year's is a beaut!

I got a flu shot. It gave me an occulo-respiratory syndrome reaction in the worst 1%, which means picture bad bronchitis. I am just about over it and now I find out the flu vaccined does not really protect 100% against this new nasty strain. At least it's related to one of the protected ones so some protection is inevitable.

Well, 2:47pm. Finally got a little sleep, although it was a very sweaty sleep. I was up all night unable to fall to sleep because of 102+ temp and major headache, I even halucinated which was kind of cool, I did that once when I was about 13 and running a high fever. Only problem now is in the morning I felt like I was going to throw up, not cool. Luckly I didnt. Well, I am freezing my arse off sitting here on this computer, going back to bed/couch.

Too bad you did not have the flu when you were running me off in my HBC in the neb with your newfangled Lyran CL from hell, hehehehe... All kidding aside folks, and especially you Soreyes, keep posting so we know that there are no dangers with anyone. This thing is a killer from what I am reading.

The woman who lives across the street from us has been traking Chemo-Therapy, so her immune system is depressed. She contracted this flu and died in her sleep two nights ago. She was 59 and her husband, needless to say, is devestated. He blames himself for not waking up. He thinks he could have done....something.. if he had..

Other than that, her chemo was going well and she was in remission..

I can't remember having a flu this bad. My temp is hanging around 101, and Im still trying to cough up a Lung or both

All I can do is drink lots of gateraid, Take a few meds, and sleep.... Im hoping for the fever to break in the morning. heck I even tried to play a few missions on the Empires Server. I had to stop due to having to run to the Bathroom every 4 or 5 min. Till I feel a little better signing off.

I came down with it the day before Thanksgiving. By the time Friday rolled around, I could barely get out of bed. Oddly, I managed to contract Pink Eye at the same time ...lol. The flu was gone by Tuesday, but I still can't go back to work until Sunday according to the doc.

Pink Eye ...lol. Of all the stupid reasons to miss work. That call was hilarious to make.

Me > Hi, sir. It's me.

Sheriff > Hey , how's that flu? Hope you're back by Tuesday, cause I have a few things I want you to do.

Me > well, it's funny you mention it, but ....

Me > Are you done laughing yet, or should I just keep waiting, sir?

Well, I had a low fever this morning but it has not returned all day which is good. Tons of water, sleep and taking of my temp, baby style. Anyways, I think I am well now hopefully you all get well, this started on Saturday morning so... it lasted a while for me.
