The LOD1 model is done and in game. Illumination maps and everything. As promised, the first kitbash kit is now available. It includes the main dish and the nacelles with appropriate textures. It also includes two jpg files that I used as the base textures for the hull and most of the rest of the ship. Not sure how long the LODs will take, but the textures were the hardest part. Those are already done.

One tiny little detail on an oherwise perfect ship: unless I'm mistaken, the little "fin" deely on the aft portion of the port nacelle should be on the outboard side. I may be wrong but it looks like they both (left and right nacelles) have the little fin on the starboard side of the nacelle.

Actually, I just looked back at the final update pics in the old thread and the RCS thruster on the port nacelle (that's what the 'little fin deely' is for) was placed correctly - on the outboard side of the nacelle, Khaliban seems to have altered it to be wrong since then, I have no idea why... Oh well, I'm sure he'll spot these posts and correct it.

He must have put two starboard nacelles on the ship, because the lights on the front of the engine, near the hydrogen collectors are in the same position. They should be reversed for the port nacelle.

I had to repair the engine. A minor texturing mistake. I copied the engine over instead of mirroring it. I'll fix that before release. Thanks.

Khaliban - WTF is wrong with that site you use - 3Ddownloads, when I click on the 'download now' link it starts loading a new page and then just loads the same page with the link to D/L again!!!

I don't wanna miss out on this ship f when you release it I can't D/L it... Why can't it get anything from that site?

What do you mean? I right clicked and opened it in a new window and then I dragged over everything down to the dl link and nothing happens, if I click on it it just reloads the same page over and over!

I can't really use the kit either but I still wanted to dl it.
