Vipers were the first (and smallest) satellite ships to arrive with the Andromedan invasion fleet. They were quickly found to be inadequate and too easily destroyed against the galactic forces, so most ships switched to the larger Cobras. Remaining Vipers were converted to the Courier or Bull Snake configurations for fleet support duties.

Thanks, Desty for rounding out the invasion fleet. I've wanted a complete set of Andromedan ships since I first got SFC II. They look great and "historically" accurate. I know that you plan on doing the Devestator and the bases as well. (How's the starbase, coming by the way?) Thanks again for all the ships. It does my old TOS/SFB heart good.
