Lionfish (Robotech Mod in game shot)

Well I got the King of all of the the fishes in the game this afternoon.  She is more along the line of a baby battleship compaired to her older sister the Garfish.  Althought not as quick in the turns her firing arcs more than make up for that.
The younger sister to this ship is the Triggerfish. The Triggerfish primary role is Fleet Defense and she is built for speed. I might post a pic of that ship later on.

When can we expect it, th eGarfish and any others to be available to download, if I may ask...

Well at first I wasn't going to release these ship out yet until I could build a small installment to the mod for anyone to download. But after sinking in 4-5 hrs just to do the hp's , dp's and just get the ships in the game, it becomes a lot of work. I might release the three ship in the next few days for you guys to play with, I still have to write out the credits etc.. before I can let them go.

Originally I was going to release about 8-10 ships in my first mod installment which I thought might have been ready in a week.   Ummm yeah.. right (cough: unrealistic goals) Anyways, I will most likely lets these buggers go to give everyone there much needed fix while I work on getting the first mod installment ready.

Sofar you guys know what the frist three ships are so I will leave you hanging with that thought.

Poly count is 5320 for this ship (sorry but I couldn't cut corners on this one)
The Ikazuchi Command Carrier which is about 4 times as big as the Lionfish has a poly count of 4270. But then again she does not have that many angles and curves.

That seems awesome. Donīt worry about the 5k poly count. Have you seen the sovereign models? They run good even with lots of polys. (and I have a crapy PC )

Man talk about a badd time for the NightSoft server to go down.
Well I quickly threw the Ikazuchi Command Carrier in game and took a snap shot of it. But until the server goes back on-line we are all sort of SOL.  I will post a temp shot of the Ikazuchi when it comes back on-line again, since its not fully completed model.

Btw: I was wrong on the size of the Ikazuchi she is roughly 800Meters long which is roughly 700Meters longer than the fish series of ships.

Well there is the Ikazuchi and in the left corner of the shot is a Lionfish roughly 5km away from the carrier.
If you think this one is big there is an Icarus Class Command Carrier which is slightly larger, say another 80+ meters.

Sorry about your troubles there. I really have a love/hate relationship with computers and software myself.

But the Ikazuchi looks mighty cool. Thanks for posting the pic.

And now you tease me again: what does an Icarus Class Command Carrier look like?

Well I released the Triggerfish today. I'll see about releasing the Garfish and the Lionfish later today also.

Well the Lionfish and Garfish are ready. The ARMD and most of the VF's are close to being finished. The Ikazuchi and Icarus needs to have their glowies and Hp's & Dp's put in place and they will be ready.

When I say VF's I mean 4 color versions of them with 3 weapon load outs for each version. Normal Missile Variant, Super VF and Strike VF.

well that one has a few holes in the mesh I didn;t see before. And since I now know how to sub-divide I will be able to fit those issues. But using it as a planet just doesn't work in game. Since all Planets have an Atmosphere glow around them the model looks odd and at a scaled size of 6000Meters it looks  terrible.

I'm going to resize it, increase the polys and fix the holes and see what happens.
