The Spaz. Even an experienced pilot in a C7 had trouble against the SPAZ.

Man the glory days. When Mplayer went down, it just wasn't the same. Another thing I miss is my old flash movies about various players. Unfortunatly I think they are all lost too. Ah those were the days...

I remember when...

Dont know if anyone here will remember, i'm going back a good bit. In SL league forum there was a great story, written by wisdom from ICOP. was wondering if any of the forums are archived anywhere? I know its a long shot, in info would be great.

::Sigh::

I sure would like to experience an old Mquake just for nostalgic purposes.

Gods....the memories...the memories.

Being an Exp 1 and taking on an Exp 4 for my first match...then tractoring the player into an asteroid and having them scream at me....

Being an Exp 5 and having troubles getting anyone to play me....

Then going through an Mquake and watc...

Sadly I'm too young to remember those days. I just remember GS and all the complaints which was weird as I had used it for ages with elite force. And the crowning moment of winning the 2v2 tourney with Jut when his partner dropped out. Then eventually retiring from iCoP due to my a levels and getting ready for uni.
*sigh* those were the days.

Oh man SL and mplayer ruled!

Check this out i know its Mech C, but still, its just like the SFC lobby!

The old days were so much fun. When i started i played about 5-10 games a night. HAHA soon i was getting 2-3 a week if i was lucky. Its a shame the campaign never did get up and running it would have ruled!

I always liked playing against rank 6's and up when I was a rank 1 or 2. I also remember playing in a tourney as a newb against one of the PGC guys and winning. I think he was a rank 3. Forgot his name. I got whacked in the next round, but still had fun.

One thing I did like in Mpuke was being able to lock or unlock a room on the fly and passing the bubble.

Yeah mpig took its fair share of stick, but the lobby set up and the general atmosphere in the place was 2nd to none. Same goes for SFC 1, i remember times when the lobby would have easy 400 people in it. The banter between the fleet's was great.

HEHE i have to admint i loved it even more when thing's got heated, there was nothing qutie like destroying someone in a grudge match .

:sigh: those were the days!

Remember when the cycles were getting near the end? Man, the top fleets and captains would do almost anything just to get in a game.

Cool. Glad the link worked for you. I've been trying off and on since I posted
the first message and I keep getting a message that bandwidth has been exceded.

Us old timers have to look out for each other.

SFC1/MPig was a freakin' blast. As much as we complained about MPig we didn't
know how much fun it was until it was gone. SFC1 was the first game I ever played
online and I will always have warm fuzzy feelings about it.

EAW was my first online game. I didn't have the money to buy SFC. There were three of us in my office that played online. Imaigne my surprise/elation to find the Kzin/Mirak in the game!! Yehaa!

Mplague was listed (hosted in the Middle East) recently. I haven't been there in some time. Talk about a trip down memory lane!

Awhile ago, I made an account on MPlayer Arabia so I could snag my old avatar (The 24 Hour Church Of Elvis).
I actually paid for a GSA account so I could upload Elvis.

I still have a GZ account, maybe I should grab my lawyer and try to negotiate a match.

As far as the forums are concerned I believe they were taken down and all of the posts deleted by the higher ups. Oh well.

100 was great but i liked 90 even better the BH (if i recall). You had to love 130 early v's fed. CC v WE (i think was the name of the fed ship or was it the damn my memory is gettin bad!). Although when it came to SFC 1, you just couldn't beat the KRC and ofcourse the KCR!

That being said 200 late SPZ v C7 v's a great duel, you''d be surprised how many highly EXP klin's came a cropper to that we SPZ in their C7's.

90 early (later 95 early, damn patches kept screwing us) Z-DD. I remember when you could strip a ship down to get better drones.

Oy...

SFC1's SPZ still sends shiver down my spine.
