I'm losing my mind. No, I take that back. I have LOST my mind.
I just spent the last 6 hours trying to figure out why I could not get my Visual Studio.Net IDE to register the Microsoft DirectX9 dlls to registerd.
I finally had to uninstall the sdk, run a repair on the IDE, then reinstall the sdk, and then register the dlls. That in itself took nearly 2 hours....
but it was all the foraging through the copious amounts of information on the MSDN and MS KNowledge Base sites for an answer to my problem that was truly mind numbing.
and now that I've finally got this stuff installed and ready to go I'm too damn numb to actually work my way through the silly teapot tutorial...
Bah! slide bamboo under my fingernails...please!
