Magnum Man If You're Still Out There...

Awhile ago you asked what the problem was with the mission Battle at the Grave of Thoughts after the last patch. I was wondering if there was any news or headway on that front or should we just consider the mission broken and make due with the old one. The old one does work, my only desire was to be able to get a working version for the OP port of it. Without an earlier version's source code, a working version can't be put into OP.

I have the "corrected" script in EAW already, but thanks for offering. What we need is the earlier source code for the mission or a fixed version of the 2036 build's source code in order to port it to OP. Only Taldren can help with this, but they seem determined to ingnore this problem.

.. can someone find me a list of all the things wrong with "Uni_7BattleGrave.scr", aka "Battle at the Grave of Thought"?


.. I have some time to work on it right now.  (small burn-out)
.. I may not have time soon. (baby's due in about 2 weeks)

.. so if I get the ball rolling for this and solve it quickly...

The allied replacement cruisers for the ones that are destroyed and the allied rescue ships for the prisoners do not show up when summoned through the listening post. This battle played correctly with patch 20.13 but stopped with 20.33 and 20.36.

Just what he outlined. Yep. And if you get a chance, look at Orion Moon as well. The Pyre worked fine, but Orion Moon refuses to acknowletge weapons fire into the planet the instant the next ship launches.

when I get to Orion moon in my single-player testing, I'll work it out.
.. as for BatGot.. hmm... .. I have indeed fixed it, but installing an older version will work fine.
