The Cobra was the most common Andromedan satellite ship, comprising over 65% of those deployed. It was intended to replace the Viper, which was found to be too small to effectively withstand combat in the Milky Way galaxy. Cobras had no displacement device and very rarely operated alone due to their limited startegic range.

Andromedan ships have no warp drive, they move around using the DisDev - Displacement Device, basically a gigantic transporter that move the ship (or an adversary ship) instantly from one location to another however it's a fairly sizeable piece of tech and the smaller ships simply cannot operate them, the Python being the smallest DisDev equipped ship. As a result the Andro frigates and destroyers are carried around by the larger cruisers and dreadnoughts, so a satellite ship is one which is incapable of independent FTL travel and is carried by a mothership. Was that all correct Desty?

Yep, that's right Lestat. One thing you might mention is that the every Andro ship has warp drive capable of tactical warp, however at top speeds Andromedan warp drives are siginificantly slower and less efficient than their galactic counterparts.
