Well, all you Hydran lovers should be ahppy to know that I've finally started releasing the first elements of their fleet. The Ranger is the basic heavy cruiser hull of the Hydran Royal Navy. Hydran heavy cruisers tend to be highly durable compared to other races' ships, mainly because their primary armament was originally the fusion beam, which requires point-blank range to be truly effective. So Hydrans are designed to take your best shot, get in close, and kill you. I also figured it wouldn't be right to release any Hydrans without releasing the other mainstay of their forces, the Stinger-II fighter. These little craft are a huge punch in a small box. I have played an SFB game where I gutted a Gorn Dreadnought with a mere 3 of these fighters.

Coming soon!

Looks great. I especially like the rear view. The lighting, as with all of your models, is terrific! I can't wait to fly it and the stingers too. (Or is that II? Sorry, Hydran humor. Not everyone gets it. )

Lookin' good (for boxy TOS/SFB Hydrans)  Too bad you can't make the fighters come out of the hangar bays on the neck.  Speaking of which, have you given any thought to recessing those doors a fraction?  Any extra detail you can add to a mesh like this would be welcome.

I could do that. Generally I don't model what I can texture, but that one little detail probably couldn't hurt.
