Topic: Starbase or Spacedock??? (Read 1333 times)

Ok heres whats going on, as I was tweaking my mod checking everything out I was wondering is the picture below a spacedock, or a starbase, during TMP movies, It was refered to as a spacedock, and during the TNG series it was refered to as a Starbase, reason why Im asking is, should this be a spacedock and have no weapons, should it be just to repair ships and docking purposes, or should it be fully loaded and be called a starbase, Im thinking about DS9, starbase there were combat ready, the station in which im talking about is massive and im afraid I made it too powerful, so powerful that only 3 dreads from any other species has the power to knocked down its shield so whacha think

It's a starbase. The spacedock facility is incorporated into the base. Spacedocks can do significant repair and resupply of ships. Major construction, repair and refits are done in the Fleet Repair Dock seen in ST1 and Montgomery Station shown in TNG. I think you have the two a bit mixed together.

So.... hmmm just brings more questions in mind lol ummmm, can someone post the suggested specs for SFC2OP for this type of station

adam out Dont forget the shields either and answer one thing as well, umm... TNG Query how many ships and types would be able to knocked down this station shields?
