But you did learn something from that crappy tape I showed you: Torsion. See it was worth it.

As a SFB player I know the positron flywheels game effects. I'm just saying a positron fly wheel would have no more effect than an electron flywheel (Klystron or magneto.) To get any inertial change worth noting you would need particles with relativistic mass and some of the most massive are mesons which are fleeting in duration but have ludicrous mass while they exist. They are also the size of softballs. T factor comes into play because at relativistic speed thier duration is greatly increased by time dialation.

EDIT: Before anyone says anything, not all mesons are that big. Mesons are a family of particles; not just one particle. So anyone about to body check me for the science can just relax.

Well lol after seeing some of the anwsers and unspoken questions. i have made a crude warp for sfcop with the speed slider full warp is max speed and stop warp is emergency stop (ouch i just warped through a star and exploded lol)ill play with it some more and need to add warp graphics still but maybe ill add it to OrionsBelt ver 1.1 see ver 1.0 at http://www.stcd.sgnonline.com/network/index1.htm

Must be why they took it out of SFB alltogether.

Hmmmm. Those mesons would make a heck of a weapon though. Super massive particle the size of a soft ball slamming into a ship at near light speed. F=MA. Hey where did that dreadnaught go? What dreadnaught?

And at the energy needed to create the buggers symmetry would not have broken down. Therefore it would have gravitic, electromagnetic, weak and strong force exchanges as well as kinetic energy. If it could carry a warp field for a brief time it would be an awesome weapon, perhaps a planet wrecker.
