Model Packs?

Hi there

Since seeing the OP 3.1+ with models download, I'm hooked.

Thing is, are there any model package downloads that are simple to install, like say, extract to the model directory without sorting out what files go where?  I know I saw a few a while ago, but the links are dead now.

I'm looking specifically for a good federation package if that helps any.

No not that I know of.

Most of the time they are mods with more than just models but the ship and fight lists edited as well.

As far as I know you will be stuck lookingthrough sites and having to change the geometry section of the ship list to replace the models. Having ShipEdit would be a plus for changinf out the models as it makes it simple.

I have an executable model pack that I downloaded from a now defuct website called SFC Eras of War. Since that site has disappeared, I don't know where you can get this model pack though.

Have you d/l the quintessential SFC:OP Mod the D2 mod by Atrahasis/Cleeve/P81 and Taldren? Get it here:

Its a simple 1:1 replacement for a large part of the STOCK Klinks, Roms and Feds.

It's not listed on the site anymore, unfortunately...

... ironically, the EFF was my first fleet.  I left when I became addicted to the Dynaverse and bored with GSA matches.  A good bunch of people though, and I learned a lot flying with Freeman and Pestilence.

That's what I have. Unfortunately there dosn't seem to be anymore sites that host it.

i got the pack and all the mod from eras of war, i download it everything just in case and (if i can find a way to have a web site and someone who can make the pages for it) i will restore eras of war.
