Activision doesn't care - here's proof

Many of you know the Better Business Bureau is an organization that rates businesses based on consumer complaints and how they are handled.

Here is proof that Activision cares only about money, and not about you, I, or anyone else that buys their products.

 Activision BBB report

You'll note the last complaint was filed in 2002, meaning they have had a year since then to bring their image back up to reputable, but have not done so.

I am sorry that Taldren is stuck between Activision and the makings of a great game.

grose@activision.com is the company contact if anyone wants to send him an email...

I'll say it again, "At this point can we say: "CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT" ?"

I mean technically, it might qualify as a defective product.

I think as someone else said, Activision is too big to care about one title.  They have many titles that I am sure they are making good money off of...

Besides, they're too busy fighting Paramount (Viacom). We'll probably end up with something like this:

I have no clue who that is on the right.  Those types of graphics were around before I got into computers.  The first Pitfall Harry I can remember was, I think, if I remember correctly, on a 3DO system if I recall correctly, in a game called Pitfall.  He didn't look like that however.  It's an old system, but I think that's from something older than that.  I played it in the store a little bit a long time ago.

Indiana would thrash him though.  Jones rules!

Yeah, It's Indiana Jones (Paramount) vs. Pitfall Harry (Activision).

The graphic of Pitfall Harry was supposedly taken from a screenshot of the game Pitfall made by Activision for the Atari 2600.

I hate to say this but isn't this like beating a dead horse.
Game Patches will come out when they come out and in general not on our time schedule, that is just life.
If you want to do something about it organize it on an Activision Forum instead of dragging Taldren deeper into it.

I am sure they would just delete any posts that were negative about the subject.  IMO I paid for the game, so I have a right to some feedback.  I also have the right to bitch...  Besides, it makes me feel better!!!

LucasArts has just recently released a  patch  (1.01) for "Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy". And that game has been out HOW long?? Nowhere near to a bloody year.

But Lucasarts did not make Jedi Academy.  Raven did.  And Activision published it.
