FYI: ATI Cat 3.1 drivers released
« on: February 13, 2003, 12:15:45 am »
Just a heads-up for those who have ATI cards. They've released new catalyst 3.1 drivers for DX9. I've installed them and they improve ops quite a bit. At least on my set-up. I used to get a lot of "flickering" when loading games with the 3.0 driver and that doesn't happen anymore. Blending of the textures colors is improved, and AA works a lot better! Also the new drivers apparently have M$'s blessings No pop-up warnings about the drivers not being certified for XP.

There's also support for 16bit AA for the SFC3/Radeon 9700 users among us. Got the Radeon, don't have the game so I can't tell you what it's like.
