this weeks episode of enterprise, the one where, according to the trailer, Earth is destroyed, shows a shot of the USS Intrepid, which I swear was done for the moddelers of forums like these. If you haven't already seen it, you might want you have your VCR's ready.

Nope I gave up on that show long ago.

I already know you will be able to find pics of any new ships the day after, I just wait for those now and avoid the pain of watching that show.

It was a good episode and it made sense too, didn't violate anything, unless you count the reuse of a delta quandrent alien ship from voyager. (the ship itself has no impact on the story for those spoiler complainers).

Besides, the still pictures on GOF, ex astris, and neutral zone don't do justice to the scene where the nacelle gets blown off.

Well, they to reuse ships in all Trek shows, mosty for buidget reasons I think. I'll look over it myself as long it doesn't affect the storyline. Okay, except for that Klingon D7 they used in the first season, which was supposed to be a much more primitive ancestor. THAT was even too much for me.

At least we'll see the ship thay WANTED to use, as Smiley is working on one (don't worry, I'll be after he is done with the Tempest and Andor Refit)

Nice to get a mention every now and then! Thanks for remembering that ship, I didn't actually know that that was an Enterprise era vessel when I was modelling it! lol
I just saw it and thought that I liked the design. The textures; I have begun on that one, but seeing as it is my first attempt at a Klingon, the textures will take a lot of work! There's a lot of niggley little bits that everyone else has on their Klingon textures, mostly 3D looking bits - it's those that I have trouble with!

Anyway, once the Tempest (which is drawing nearer and nearer to completion with everyday) and the Andor are done, the Klingon one with move up higher on my list of things to do!

Hey, no prob Smiley.

I'm just glad to see all this stuff actually happening. It is still all amazing to me, seeing these ships and more come to life here on the forums.

When I was a kid, the closet I ever got to seeing them was either waiting for 'em to come on the telly or wait years for movies. (This was bedire the VCR of course)

I had to go to a friend's house to play a Star Trek game that was done for DOS and involved moving through squares to fight off a Klingon invasion. Cook for thr time, but you had to imagine the battle in your head while giving the computer commands like fire 500 units of phasers or numbers which represented warp factors.

Look how far we have come...

I disagree with the whole "this episode sucked" bashing of Enterprise. I thought that the Starfleet ships were in keeping with the designs we saw in The Expanse and I thought it was one of the better episodes in the season....or maybe I just like alternate timeline stories.

And your right, the scene where the Intrepid loses one of her nacelles is a classic moment,

Semper Fi, Carry On.

Yup, at this rate, soon we'll see Lieutenant Reed and "Trip" Tucker, inventors of the first Earth-based ship shielding systems, an off-shoot of Reed's brand-new forcefield technology.  Thought that Redd was a security man, not an engineer or scientist.  Oh, silly me.. this is "Enterprise".

Hey this episode Rocked
And Unlike most Trek Fans I found Enterprise to be a refreshing Fresh perspective on Trek...
True it is no way as good as the TOS and Later TNG Eps...But It is way better than(And I know I'll get Flamed for this   )
Voyager was...Hell the only ep of Voyager I Loved was with Sulu...and they "F'ed" up that time line didn't they...and worst of all...they Beeeeooooched the Borg...Hell even Kirk would not have been able to do that realistically(Unless he used his classic Kirk mojo on the Borg Queen   )

And Yes the Design IS an upside-down Akira...with all its same details that make no sense to be on the ship...but hey...I like her better than the Akira any day.

Bottom line is that I may hate Voyager..and Love Enterprise...to others   its the opposite..but its all trek...and I take the good with the bad

Thanks for letting me rant here

Honestly, i kinda liked this episode.
And one thing that i have noticed is that not all the NX class ships look alike, it gives ths ships some indivuality, i like that.

well, if you'd actualy watch the episode, they got shields from the andorians, which is how they got it anyways right? It would make sense if andorials became allies and eventually a part of the federation, since they are currently more advanced as far as ships, up there with the vulcans.
