Not that that would take any increase in story telling ability.

Considering LucasFilms has the license, only they can put out Star Wars films and movies.

In anycase, I can't say how the series will compare to the movies until I see the series, but Genndy Tartakovsky is simply amazing. In fact a animated Star Wars series has always been something he wish to do. He has a rather large love of Star Wars and this can be seen somewhat in Samurai Jack.

I have high expectations.

It is own tonight. It is only a brief five minute episode, so don't miss it.

I believe you may be able to download the episode off the main website incase you do miss it, though. I am not quite sure.

Personally I think it's going to be annoying to watch in 5 min. increments. I'll probably record it then watch the whole thing.

Agreed.  I didn't know it was going to be 5 minute BS episodes.

*sigh*

I saw it, was disappointed.

Chapter 2 was on last night. It was, I believe, better than chapter 1.

It seems that we a chapter every weeknight at seven. Tonight's #3.

Just watched the first two chapters they posted on the Internet.  All I can say is that...wow, I couldn't stop laughing.  I thought the acting was pretty bad in the prequels as was the writing, but I think this just might be worse.  However, it's great humor...I really laughed and chuckled at all the hilarity all the way through.

Is it meant to be that, a spoof/comedy on Star Wars?

5 min episodes is too annoying to watch. They are like commercials.  All of them air on Friday so I'll watch them then.

I don't understand why they can't make full length cartoons.  They would sell toys like crazy.
