« on: January 19, 2004, 08:37:51 pm »
My favorite site concerning Star Trek Cannon ships is the  Daystrom Institute Technical Library
I think thats the best source of info but than again I might be wrong, the only thing this site doesnt include is Shuttle information aboard Starships, now dont get me wrong the site has info on shuttle, even for klingon and rommies but what Im looking for is the type of shuttles an Akira Class has, how many fighters, etc..., can anyone help me with this, please post a reply containing a webpage, thanks guys

I'm guessing that those fighter specs come from Invasion. The rest of those sound right for what we've seen onscreen.

That is a tad more than I expected, I ve seen the shuttle bays on the galaxy class, and I dont think the Akira has a bigger one that fits that amount, sounds kinda a wierd, but nevertheless, I appreaciate the help, thanks

I think that those shuttle load outs listed are individual max capability...

I think it should read

6 Type 18 Shuttlepods

or

2 Type 7 Personnel Shuttles

or

2 Type 6 Personnel Shuttles

or

....

it would seem more realistic that way.

Ok the shuttles seem to be fine, but how about the fighters, for ex. the akira has 40, that sounds little bit to over exagerated, or is it me lol
