« on: October 23, 2003, 12:03:41 am »
Ok I have 2 comps... yes they do suck, but im getting a new comp soon so up urs The first is a P Celeron, 633mhz, 64mb GeForce 4, 128mb ram, 64 DIMM, 64 SDRAM, Windows ME, The 2nd comp is a P1 133mhz, 80mb ram, 4mb vid card... Windows 95... So anyway on my celeron, i am able to compile the map, but when i scroll and switch screens, the map blurs out... same thing happens in 95.... I heard somewhere that Artifex only works on NT, 2000, and XP, is this true? thx

When I made the original ISC Inv. map for SFC:EAW,  I did have initial startup problems using Artifex where I could not even create a new map.  Goto into the registry by using regedit and make sure that the directory path used is the correctly pointing to the Artifex's program directory.

I hope that helps.

You are correct.  The program does not work with windows 95 or win ME.  You will need to upgrade to win XP to use it.

You can, however, use the program to create an empty map and then just edit the file it makes with notepad.  That works ok, but it takes a great deal of time.
