We loaded the X-CLC mod into the file it seemed to think was the appropriate target and unzipped it.  Tried to do the custom skirmish mode to test fly the ship.  Well ...  hmmmm  doesn't work.  I reviewed the ship list.  The ship itself does not apear.  We reviewed the assets file and saw several "bmp files" that were directly related to the Bass Master.  There were also two other files that we could not open ..  (windows didi not recognize the program that created them and we were unable to open for examination.  Two things:

1.  Is this mod good to go if we can actually get it o work.  ( how do we corrct the problem )

2.  Will the ship also have with it the weapons and FFA requested on our post.  If not can someone please direct me to the ship editor so we can create a new ship file for the X-CLC .  I think I had those at one time but when we bot our new hard drive it was lost.    I would deeply appreciat any assistance in getting final stages of the mod completed.  Please advise as to the steps in confirming that the ship has been loaded into the two ship lists both for Skirmish and GAS mods.

The quickest way to ensure that the file transferred correctly is to download the Taldren ModViewer (you can get it at my site now that it's now up again), and run it (or Associate .MOD with Modviewer.exe [you'll have to disbale the .MOD extension in WinAMP or another music program if you have one]).  Then navigate to the directory with the Bass Master and click on the Bassmaster.mod file.  It'll then load up the .MOD and show you the ship with the textures on in a 3D view that you can zoom in and out of, and rotate in X,Y,and Z axises.

But to add it into your game, the easiest way is to download Shipedit v3 (you can also get that on my site) and then add the OP beta addition for it.  (You're running OP, right?)  Once it's all running, you can then browse to the directory that has the Bassmaster in it once you selected (or created) the X-CLC slot.  And that'd get it all in there easily.

hmmmm  ...  (olbuzzard scratches head)...   ok..  we start with the DL stuff.  Hope ya dont mind an old man asking a bunch of questions.  But before this is over with we intend to have a fully functional mod without having to shut stuff off...  etc.  Yess we have the OP game.    I saw the "BRK" file ...  i take it that is the " break up " file ??  How about damage ..  ??  (might be going over the top here ..  let me know)
