I've noticed a general shortage of new starbases, battle platforms and the like out there (not a complaint, just an observation).

Is anyone working on some or at least pondering it?

I'm going to try and design a phaserplatform.

also trying to get this made by someone. My only request is that the dish on top goes (this aint starwars) and ya keep the 224 radial lines on this sucker...lol

Now if you are to skip all those radial lines and just keep the solid disk, and those 4 ball things on the bottom (either side of the lower spire) -you'll not the torpedo launcher on the side- it would make a nice battlestation. Use those 8 fat radial ribs as phaserbanks, and a lateral bank along the edge of the sacuer plus theres one on top of each ball with limited arc, could really have some fun there.

I also took a look at the pic link. I think this platform will do quite nicely.
