"... And now for something we hope you'll really like."

I started the Pyotr Velikiy class ship months ago, and finally finished her in the wee hours of the morning. Hope you like her, she sure is pretty!

For those of you who want her, click the sig below and pick her up at the Starfleet page of Planet Mudd.

I'm gonna go to bed now.

'Night all.

Awesome mesh and textures. I remember seeing a request for that in a thread a while back. Like what you did with her.
This is great seeing alot of TOS designs lately

Alright!

Another Starfleet Museum ship is brought to SFC!

I'm impressed with this ship. (Even if she was overshadowed by the Constitution, according to the museum)

No, Thank you guys. Waking up to new messages of apprietiation has made my day.

The brown or copper colored stripes were a spur of the moment idea that I thought would permit this model to stand out a bit from the Constitution's shadow. Hope that makes it easier to swallow for any who dislike it.

I was pretty tired this morning, but managed a last minute correction on the Hardpoint placement just before I zombied out. Those of you who downloaded very early this morning might want to update.

actualy I like it. the drab tos hulls get boring after a while. this has a more nx feel to it.

Right on, Mudd!  I've been hoping this would be done for SFC2.  I must admit, the hull color scheme threw me off for a moment, but the more I look at the ship and fly her, they really do give it an interesting look, quite different from all other Fed TOS ships. Personally, my spin is that since she was Andorian designed and built (see the class' history at Starfleet Museum), it may be that the differing hull patterning is a purely Andorian element, a "trademark", if you will. Anywhos, my $.02.

Nice job!

Hey guys,

Yeah, 19332 side/polys. She's a fat bottom girl, but they make the SFC world go round.   Seriously, I may go back and do a little clean-up/editing in the future, but I gotta get some things out of my head and onto the site first.

Interesting take on the hull color scheme rationalization. I remeber reading that too. Your two cents make a dollar in my bank. Let's call it "canon", wanderer.

Got a WIP pic up at Planrt Mudd, Starforce2. Just because I really do like surprises.

uh ... DestinyCalling, that was a reference to my "Queen" reference, right?

The ship seems to work right for you, right?

I'm not having any problems on my system, but lower end systems may experience a bit of staggering if multiple copies of the Washington are run. It is what it is for the moment. At least until I go back and mess with it.

No, seriously, what's wrong with it, DC?  Maybe I can help. If it's a serious problem, I might be able to get to it immedietly.

there isn't anything wrong with it... at all.. even the colour scheme has grown on me (quite a lot).... i just was surprised that it was a bit jerky when view in the mod viewer... and now i know...

It's great, BUT I've not put it in the game yet so I'll get back to you on that...

Cool.  No man is an island, y'know. I apprieciate all feedback, especially of the technical kind. I have pride in my work and like to think that I stand behind it with a certain level of "customer service", as it were. That's why I'll be going back to tweak it. I think I can get the polycount down, without sacrificing too much detail. As an artist on a mission, I have a few things already started that require attention, but there will a refit release.

Actually, something I did notice... On your Proxima, the nacelle supports looked a little bit on the slender side... Front to back I mean.... And it wont load in SFC2ED either but you get that quite a lot anyway....

Keep it up
