Single player campain

I just started playing SFC3 again, and was wondering why i cant won two ships in the
single player campain?

Im not exactly sure why Taldren limited the ships that you could own to only one, it is a major departure from the rest of SFC.  But then again, so was going to *The*Company*that*shall*not*be*named*.  Chances are it was all apart of their plan to dumb the game down and Taldren had no choice to comply, if they ever wanted the program to see the light of day that is.

What they did was make it more realistic.  In the campaign and dyna other ships will join your fleet but they have their own Captains.  As the flag ship you give fleet orders and the other ship captains may or maynot carry them out.  They do for the most part.   If you fly around long enough and land on another ship that is not already in a fleet, he may ask to join you.
