Congrats Gambler on the 50K mark... Very cool!!!

And wow that list is blast from the past.  16K units... When I was at "full steam" that would take me about 6 weeks.

I AM at full speed.  It would take roughly 54 weeks.  I have less steam than you.

From 4/3 to 4/11 Taldren averaged a daily output of 666.9 work units.
Team Mexico averaged 744.3 in the same time frame.

We need to find some more Work units from somewhere.

Finally made the top 25 (hopefully I'll stay there).  My new work machine is adding beautifully to my output!

Results Received  3387
Total CPU Time  1.390 years
Average CPU Time per work unit  3 hr 35 min 43.7 sec
Average results received per day  8.59
Your rank out of 4960424 total users is:  73802nd place.
The number of users who have this rank:  29
You have completed more work units than  98.512% of our users.

On a side note, I'll be upgrading my home 2.53Ghz to a 3Ghz this weekend.  Hopefully that'll add a few more units that we need to have to beat the Mexico Team.

 Hey there...
I got permission to use 3 computers for a little while. They are slow p3 550MHz. But every little bit helps. I have them set up just like the faq says so hopefully it will be a low maintenance deal. lol.
I am curious to see how bad my times get.
Anyone have a suggestion onn how to make the relics kick em out quicker?

That is what we need is for them 2 to go at it. I don't even know how many WU a day they do.

On a side note... if I did my math right, I should over take my old nexa1 (#63) spot before June. Does that sound right?
I am thinking that 2 of the P3 are crunching a unit every 9 hours and the 3rd id crunching one every 13 hours. My P4 2.6 does a unit every 3 hrs 40 min.

Considering that his last work unit was processed on Wed Dec 10  2003, that is not likely to happen again anytime soon.

Wow that is totally awesome guys!!!!

We are in the top 100 in the world.  That is a truly amazing accomplishement.

Really could anyone here imagine it?  Top 100.

okay so for what are we doing in Korea.  This is to be considered confidential and not released to the public, just for you SETI guys...

I am leading a all Korean team plus one American - Nate Simpson from CA to create a new massively multiplayer game based on the kung-fu literature of China.  This is a huge body of fiction going back a thousand years and lead in the modern era by Louis Cha.

If you take a look at my website  www.erikbethke.com  you will find some book reviews there.  Take a look at the Deer and the Cauldron.

It is great working here in Korea, the atmosphere is differently paced, weather interesting and the people are cool.

The three areas of principle focus for our new game are:
Robust dynamic gameplay systems to reduce the reliance on static content
Very deep service
Advanced utilization of social network graphs for extremely neat tricks to have the server aware of the players' experience and adjust the gameplay on the fly to make it more of a partyl!

also as we said earlier B9 is on hold - more practically we and MJ have decided that we need some space.  I will leave it at that for now...

Awesome guys!
-Erik

I think of the SETI team as our own little group, in the Taldren family, working on a common goal together
