So once again, the demands of life, employment and other things have sucked away most of my free time and I have been absent from the forum for a bit. I also went through a bit of an anti-social phase as I am wont to do from time to time.

Anyway, I decided to drop in and say hello as it has been far too long. Still pumping out WUs, though that is mostly on autopilot right now. I was quite surprised to see that I am creeping up to the 20,000 mark in the near future...

Good to see things are still cooking and good to see some familiar names.

Until next time...

Unfortunately I have found a program that having seti command client running affects it adversely.  Due to the necessity of this program on the 45 best machines my University has I will now have a much lower WU per day average.

Sigh...

Oh well it was a good run.

Why don't you go back to the screen saver on these machines?

From my experience even the screensaver interferes somewhat.

I've been away from SETI crunching for a couple of months now, but I thought I'd come back.  I've just got a new machine to add into the fray.  Dual 2.8Ghz H/T P4.  Very sweet - its running 4 units at once.

Welcome here Age, If you have broadband, then Please sign up, and help the taldren team out. I know you can do It with dial up, But It does help for prossesing alot of WU's.

and yes, I'll try and get back on the bandwagon again and Get a few WU's done at night.
