I say smallish because besides the units i have, i barely get any now.

Most of my old standby machines got nuked, and i;ve been told not to put Seti on them unless i use the machine a ton (ie my work machine)

Some of the other sources are not up to date at any given time.  These should be within a few minutes of current.

I just recalculated using those links and we are now behind 33194, a gain of 352 in roughly 20 hours.

My #3 computer has an odd work unit processing now.  It has taken 8.5 hours so far and SETISpy is forcasting a total time of 15.5 hours.  That machine usually does a WU in 2.85 hours.  Must have some interesting data.  (AR=1.103, which might normally push the time up a little but nothing like this.  Note, forcast total time for completion has started to drop).

Data below is from SETISpy.

Mexico Team Results received  516136

Taldren Results received 486645

Difference = 29491

Since December 23rd a gain of 4055 WUs

Quote:

Goal 1/ Max is still holding on by 281 work units

5) Max Peck 13404
6) IKV Nemesis 13123

Goal 2/ accomplished! I am in the top 10,000!

Gaining on goal 3/ only .008% to go

Personal goals achieved.

Goal 1/ accomplished!

5) IKV Nemesis 13633
6) Max Peck 13630

That is as high as I go.  There is no way I can catch Dragons business network and everyone else has too much of a lead to catch before SETI 1 ends even if they stopped processing now.  (No I don't know the date SETI 1 ends but it would take 18 months just to reach Dreadlords current stats at my rate of processing WUs)

Goal 2/ accomplished! on December 20 I am in the top 10,000!

Your rank out of 4818492 total users is:    9651st place.  Top 9000 here I come.

Gaining on goal 3/ accomplished!

You have completed more work units than    99.800% of our users.

Next goal 99.85%.

I've been on the team since it was started and I've actually been crunching SETI WUs since May of 1999 but as of this past weekend, I'd decided to pretty much stop participating in the project.   In fact, they pretty much ceased about two weeks ago due to my wife always closing the SETI Driver program rather than just minimizing it when she was using the computer.  During that time, I got passed up by one or two guys on our team that I was outproducing.  Aside from a general boredom with the program itself, I've grown tired of fighting the Spousal Unit's general disregard for my wish to crunch SETI WUs as quickly as possible.

I'll likely just leave my meager total of completed WUs with the Taldren team but my slow and steady trickle of 10-15 WUs per day will cease.

It's been fun...heheh.

Think I got the client, but before I go nuts with it, I thought I would get some tips.

I need to find a way to get my numbers up!
